Can you describe the performance of the HP Smart Touch software on the MSI? I'm interested in installing it, but concerned it would be to slow.

Thanks!

SO I have the same exact problem- I tried all of the above including the Reset option.. it does not work- the touch screen is inverted and pressing on the right, the cursor shows up on the left. it does however work perfectly on windows xp. ugh, any suggestions?

Actually, I just tried it again. You have to use winrar to extract the exe, then go to the very last folder: sp40973\src\hp\tmp\src and there you'll find the right setup file.

You're looking for the TouchSmart app update, which is sp40973. You run it to let it create the install files, then I remember that winrar let me extract a cab. I then got down to a directory that had 7 files in it, one of them is SetupHPTouchSmart. If you run it from that directory, it will setup. Then you install the calendar and it will show up in the touchsmart app.

Hope that helps!
