HP continues their “touch” push by updating the convertible Tx2 to the Tm2. The Tm2 is more modern looking and the including TouchSmart software updated. The Mini 5102 has a myriad of options available, one of which is a capacitive touch screen. You can find out more at endgadget here and here.

January 6, 2010Lenovo is doing it’s best to innovate and add spice to the netbook market. Not happy with just updating to “pine trail”, Lenovo announced some interesting netbooks at CES. The S10-3t with multi-touch and Skylight Smartbook. The later forgoes Intel and Microsoft, using a custom Linux OS and an ARM processor. Roundding out the innovation is the U1 Hybrid which starts out as a 10.1 netbook and then you can disconnect the screen and it turns into a “slate” device running the same OS as the Skylite. MSI AE2220 Multi-touch
