Windows 7 RC – now you see it, now you don’t

April 19, 2009

The Microsoft Partner Website had an announcement for the public RC of Windows 7 starting starting May 5th and a link for MSDN and TECHNET subscribers to download it now.  However; if you went to MSDN downloads it was no where to be found.  I kept checking till Midnight CST and still no downloads.

Now the RC page on the partner site has been removed and it’s only the beta data.  What’s going on?  Certainly this must mean the RC will happen soon.  May 5th is a Tuesday, I wonder how early they will release it to MSDN?

Now you see it:
